From Cabo to Fado

The festival ‘DE CABO A FADO’, the absolute premiere of the artist from Almeria, who is already working on this new proposal as a musical journey from Cabo de Gata to the first Fado-flavoured notes of the western end of our community.
A show born from the artist’s personal work on the road to reunion with her Portuguese roots and which will lead her to a final project, with a premiere at the Seville Flamenco Biennial. With an Andalusian mother and a father from Lisbon, the dancer from Almeria makes an internal journey through flamenco music, which will take her from the air of Cabo de Gata, which has marked her character and way of expressing herself, to Fado, with so many links to flamenco. Like the artist herself, an amalgam of flavours and emotions from both cultures. That is ‘De Cabo a Fado’.
